Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) endorses the call from Palestinian civil society for Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) as part of our work for freedom, justice and equality for all people.
We mourn the murders yesterday near the campus of the University of North Carolina of three Muslim students, 23-year-old Deah Shaddy Barakat and Yusor Mohammad, 21, who were married in December; and Yusor’s sister, Razan Mohammad Abu-Salha, 19, a student at North Carolina State University.
Jewish Voice for Peace applauds the University of California Student Association (UCSA) Board of Directors for resoundingly approving two bills calling for divestment from multi-national corporations complicit in human rights abuses against Palestinians.
