Today — after close consultation with many of our partners across the immigrant justice, academic labor, and Palestine solidarity movements — JVP is releasing the first edition of our “Tell Universities: Don’t Comply with Project 2025” toolkit.

The toolkit is designed to help you organize against Trump’s recent executive orders attacking students, faculty, and staff on our campuses who are undocumented, on international visas, and/or engage in political dissent.

The flurry of attacks from the administration on our most vulnerable students, faculty, and staff can feel overwhelming. We know that this administration is trying to recruit colleges and universities to do its dirty work. Now is the time to stand up and push back, insisting that our universities live up to their core mission and stated values, insisting that international students, faculty, and staff are a vital part of our community; that students and faculty have the right to study and learn without political interference; and that we have the right to engage in political dissent without fear of reprisal.

We believe that the 10-point platform will make a real, material impact helping shield our communities from the far-right attacks on our universities. We’ve also included some key talking points, tips to help you start mobilizing, and additional resources. We know every campus is different, but we hope this toolkit gives you resources you can adapt and deploy in your local campus community.
