Jewish Voice for Peace is organizing a letter from Jewish leaders and community members in support of the “Promoting Human Rights for Palestinian Children Living Under Israeli Military Occupation Act” (H.R. 2407). This legislation would prohibit any of the $3.8 billion in military aid the U.S. grants annually to Israel from being used to support the mistreatment of Palestinian children in Israeli military detention.

  • Detroit’s Jewish community holds Shabbat in the Park with Rep. Rashida Tlaib

"We are in awe of Rep. Tlaib’s courage and stand by her. It’s heartbreaking that Rashida had to spend this evening with us instead of her beloved family. And it’s enraging that the Israeli government would hold a Member of Congress’s family hostage unless she agrees to censor herself. For as long as it’s existed, the Israeli government has forced these kinds of heart wrenching and impossible choices on Palestinians. It’s time for all of us to insist our elected officials hold Israel accountable." ...

  • Reps Tlaib and Omar banned from Israel

"Israel's decision to bar Reps. Tlaib and Omar from entering on their delegation is the direct result of Congress's unwillingness to hold Israel accountable for its racist and authoritarian policies. For as long as it's existed, the Israeli government has forced these kinds of heart wrenching and impossible choices on Palestinians. Now they have held a Member of Congress's family hostage unless she agrees to censor herself. We have every right to demand our elected officials start holding Israel accountable. We are in awe of Rep. Tlaib's courage and stand by her." ...

  • Over 20,000 pledge to deactivate Airbnb for Palestinian rights

“We cheered when Airbnb announced that after a two-year pressure campaign, they’d decided to delist settlement properties from their site. This turn-about deserves at minimum a sharp reminder that it is WORSE to do the right thing and then walk it back out of fear. There’s no neutrality in situations of injustice.”...

Back in the mid-90s, three young Jewish women realized they could no longer keep silent about Israel’s occupation – and decided to do something about it. Watch their story – our story – here.

Researching the American Israeli Alliance and Jewish Voice for Peace’s report reveals the extent of massive training programs between U.S. law enforcement and Israeli police, military, and the Shin Bet.

End the Deadly Exchange

When US law enforcement trade tactics with the Israeli police and military, Israel deepens its military occupation and the US heightens its violence of policing. Tell the Truth

Days ago, bowed to pro-Israel activists and started describing all of Jerusalem as a “city in Israel” – literally erasing Palestinian East Jerusalem. Let’s get to tell the truth: East Jerusalem is occupied territory.

Senators: Investigate Israeli Violence!

No one should be killed for taking part in a peaceful protest. It’s up to us to call on progressive Senators to investigate Israel’s massacre in Gaza that killed over 100 Palestinians wounded 12,000 others.
