Local JVP-friendly High Holiday Services 5780

just-candles

We are proud to offer this list of services where JVP members are welcomed.

Across the country, JVP Rabbis, lay-leaders, members are holding services and gatherings celebrating the cycles of the Jewish year. From Berkeley to Philadelphia, find a congregation or chavurah where you live or travel!

JVP-friendly communities typically already have JVP members contributing to the community and reflect liberatory ideals, including critical analysis of Israel’s government. JVP-friendly communities do not have Israeli or American flags on the Bimah or recite national anthems; do not collect money for the JNF or other bodies of the Israeli government; or recite prayers for the state of Israel.

Want to add your congregation or community to this list?
We would love that! Please e-mail ilana.lerman@jvp.org
