Jewish Voice for Peace Statement:

We stand in solidarity with the US Campaign for Palestinian Rights in their steadfast commitment to freedom for Palestinians and all people

Today, the Center for Constitutional Rights filed a motion to dismiss the Jewish National Fund’s lawsuit against the US Campaign for Palestinian Rights (USCPR), an important ally in the movement for Palestinian freedom, justice and equality. The lawsuit is the latest in a series of legal and public relations attacks on those who advocate for Palestinian human rights, including through constitutionally protected boycotts in solidarity with Palestinians.

These repressive tactics have been – and continue to be – deployed against other social and environmental justice movements when their actions challenge repressive state and corporate powers, from the civil rights movement to indigenous environmental struggles.

Jewish Voice for Peace stands firmly against this and all attempts to censor the public’s right to support Palestinian human rights. We will not be intimidated or silenced, and we reaffirm our commitment to work for freedom, justice and equality for Palestinians and all people.
