#Nakba70: A Time for Action

ghada_ellenx3_pppa-fb-link

The Nakba (“Catastrophe” in Arabic) refers to the forced displacement of approximately 750,000 Palestinians that began with Israel’s establishment in 1948, and that continues to this day.

It has been 70 years since May 15, 1948, and activists are organizing events to raise awareness of Palestinian refugees and change the conversation in the Jewish community to respect Palestinian human rights.
